The agritourism Casale Trigoria is an integral part of the De Amicis family farm. Situated on 35 hectares, it is currently cultivated with grains, fodder, olives, and vegetables. Due to an ethical choice of the owners, all of the products are OGM-free, and the use of pesticides is forbidden. From the early 20th century, more than 1,000 sheep and 50 horses from the Maremma, grazed there while more than 40 cows were milked in the stable. On the land destined for permanent pasture, precautions have been adopted to protect the waterfowl, fauna, and flora and to safeguard local biodiversity. To enliven our guests’ sojourn, hens, roosters, peacocks and rabbits, kittens and Capitoline geese roam freely in the yard.
Restructuring the old farm buildings and reorganizing the farm as an agritourism seemed an intelligent way to update our rural family history and culture (as workers of the land) while, at the same time, offering a coherent response to the new expectations that society has for us. This reasoning gave birth to Casale Trigoria, a multi-functional farm that has always aimed to propose quality food products in the utmost respect for the environment and that today also aims to offer services to city dwellers who choose a different way to spend their free time.

Our agritourism is family-owned and operated simple yet at the same time attentive to the needs of our guests. At the reception desk you will find Maddalena, who is the manager. Together with her and her two collaborators, you will often find her husband Paolo, her mother Giuseppina with her four grandchildren, her brother Alessandro, and her sisters-in-law Alessandra and Julia, who helps English-speaking clients.
